Brand identity for a the spa, The Sanctuary at The Den Bengaluru, a Five Star property part of The Dan Hospitality Group.
I wanted to create a strong sense of balance and peace within the identity. This was done by creating a grid to spell out Sanctuary which includes a lot of white space between the letters. This space helps focus on a sense of openness - perhaps the openness of flying through the sky like a butterfly - the butterfly theme was also one that the client was keen to focus on. For the ‘A’, I wanted to give the restricting, connecting line the same spirit of flight and freedom. It could also represent the butterfly wings. The colour is representative of the sky.

The hotel is one of Bangalore’s highest quality hotels, offering guests authentic hospitality, a relaxed ambiance and an informal stay close to the heart of India’s thriving high-tech hub.
