ORGANIZE’s objective is to increase the amount of registered organ donors in the US by using new and to-be discovered (best) practices. Digital has to be a two-way conversation. ORGANIZE will leverage on-line pro-social communities to engage and maintain a conversation with supporters. The idea is to utilize the power of digital to create awareness and feasibility around organ donation.
A key and unique aspect of the organization is the idea of a social declaration. If someone tweets, instagrams or posts something on Facebook using specific campaign driven hashtags, ORGANIZE can capture it and take it to their next-of-kin and evidence that their loved one supported organ donation and was interested in converting into an organ donor. This concept tagged us as Verizon’s Best Healthcare Initiative prize of 1 million dollars.
